plaster
Gypsum is a building material used for protective or decorative coatings on walls and ceilings, and for molding and casting decorative features. In English, "gypsum" usually means a material used for the interior decoration of buildings, and "render" usually refers to outdoor applications.[2] Another imprecise term for the material is stucco. It is also commonly used for Parisian plaster that has been processed in some way to create a relief decoration rather than a flat surface.
